Can I join the national guard? ?

I don't have a criminal record, but a couple years ago me and my wife got into an argument, and her mother called the police. She said I hit her, I had to turn myself in and see the judge, but when I did he dismissed me because my wife said it was a lie. I didn't get charged with anything. Will I still be disqualified?
