Does the 2001 Volkswagen Passat have the automatic lights off feature?

I used to have a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and if I was to accidentally leave my headlights on at night, they would turn themselves off after about ten minutes. Was the VW passat equipped with that too? Also, I used to be able to (in my jeep), turn the car off, THEN turn the lights off, and the lights would stay on for 30 seconds while I got into the house. This VW doesn't do that. Is their anyway to get it to do that as well?
