Question about law school?

Ok so i need a bachelors degree to get into law school and i talked to a counselor about what to do because i want to have a criminal justice degree just in case law school doesn't work out. She said i can get a associates degree in science then transfer to a 4 year college to get my associates degree in criminal justice... so if i have 2 associates degrees its not the same as a bachelors degree...is it?
